Rapidshare ilk acıldığında gunluk kota 5GB 'idi , daha sonra beklenmeyen bir artışla 2 katına cıkarak 10GB oldu ve bu premium uyeleri cok sevindiren bir gelişmeydi. Rapidshare gerek fiyatıyla gerekse verdiği hizmetle, luks bir hizmet olmaktan cıkıp herkesin severek kullandığı bir sistem haline geldi... Peki 23 Ekim 2008 tarihinde ne oldu ? Artık neden cok sevdiğim RapidShare sistemi uzerine boyle bir yazı yazıyorum?
Artık gunluk kota 2.66GB ve toplam aylık kota 80GB !! Evet yanlış gormediniz, 23 Ekim 2008 tarihinden sonra uzatılan hesaplar ve bu tarihten sonra alınan yeni hesaplar icin bu kurallar gecerli. Uyeliklerini bu tarihten once almış uyeler icinse şu anda kullandıkları gunde 10GB ve 50GB'a kadar birikmeli sistem sadece hesaplarını uzatana kadar gecerli kalacak. Kısacası 22 Ekim 2008'de 1 senelik hesap aldıysanız şanslısınız... Bense Ekim ayında biten hesabımı kasım ayında uzatarak Şanssız kişiler arasına girdim.

Really it should state here that we increase the prices. A few weeks ago, we have extended our capacities by 50 Percent, enabling you to download files at highest speed. Your satisfaction is our number one priority. While other webhosting services literally leave you stuck in congested networks, we don’t shy away from any cost and effort, providing fastest servers and connections.
It is not just "RAPID" that is important to us, "EASY" is of the same significance for us. For weeks have been contemplating and discussing, how we can balance pricing for our frequent- and less regular users, without getting into a profuse and complex pricing structure. At the same time we want to avoid that our less regular users are financing our frequent users, which would be the case with a general price increase. Though it is us that has to compensate for hardware and internet access. For this reason we have chosen a solution that is fair for all: In the future, the download volumes included in a Premium Account is going to be reduced from 10 Gigabyte a day to 80 Gigabyte a month, at continuous exact daily pro rata billing. The sum of accumulated download-traffic is going to be reduced from 50 Gigabyte to 10 Gigabyte. Personal web storage space is going to continue to be set to 500 Gigabyte. The changes only apply to new Premium Account and extension.
Existing Accounts are not affected, aside that due to the change of 10 Gigabyte maximum accumulated traffic, no download volume can be transferred from one day to another. As it is technically not possible to work with various procedures, we have compensated all existing Premium users 50 Gigabyte of traffic volume to their TrafficShare quota. This balance does not expire, as long as you own the Premium Account. You can flexibly apply this quota for your own downloads, should your download balance have run out. The system then automatically allocated traffic in 1 Gigabyte packages from the TrafficShare quota.
In the course of the improvements, we have immensely reduced the prices for the TrafficShare packages. By this means, users that require additional download volume, can flexibly make additional purchases at any time, without increasing the cost for less frequent users. The advantage for frequent users is that by any desired increase in TrafficShare balance, maximum download volume is no longer dictated. The advantage for less regular users is that the prices are not going to be increased. By this we also hope to increase the interest in our TrafficShare model. For all existing Premium Accounts the old conditions are in place (10 Gigabyte download per day), however, you can already make use and profit of the new TrafficShare model.
Ozetlememiz gerekirse, artık fiyatları arttırmanın rapidshare firması icin bir gereksinim olduğundan soz ediliyor. Yeni kota kurallarının ise tamamen muşteri memnuniyeti icin olduğu soyleniyor.
Bunun yanında daha once pek işimize yaramayan TrafficShare sistemi ise rapide para kazanmak icin yeni bir kapı acıyor. TrafficShare'de bulunan limitlerimizi, normal download kotamıza eklememizi sağlayacak bir sisteme gecilmiş. Bu şekilde eğer kotanız 0'a duşerse (2.66GB'tan 0'a duşmesi ise 2048kbps download hızına sahip bir bilgisayarda yaklaşık 3.5 Saat suruyor) TrafficShare limitinizden otomatik olarak 1GB asıl download limitinize aktarılıyor. Bu durum TrafficShare limitiniz bitene kadar gecerli ! .. Zaten standart olarak dişinizi kavuğuna gitmeyecek TrafficShare limiti kısa surede bitiyor. Hala gunde 2.66 GB'tan fazla indirmek isterseniz rapidshare bu sefer sizi TrafficShare paketleri almaya yonlendiriyor.
Kaba bir hesap yaparsak eskiden ayda 300GB indirme limitimiz vardı. Şu anda bu limit 80GB. Eğer 300GB indirmek istersek 220GB TrafficShare paketi almamız gerekiyor. Bunun fiyatı ise yaklaşık 20 Euro'ya geliyor. Aylık hesabın da 7Euro olduğu duşunulduğunde, eskiden 1 ayda 300GB icin 7euro oderken şu anda 27euro odememiz gerekiyor !! Halbuki eski sistemle hem ayda 300GB indirebiliyorduk hemde 6 Aylık hesabın fiyatı yaklaşık 30Euro idi !! Dikkat ederseniz fiyat tarifesi 6 KATına cıkmış gibi oldu. 30euroya 1800GB almak yerine, artık sadece 300GB alabiliyoruz !
1024kbit download / 256kbit upload tarifeli internet kullanan kullanıcılar bile gunde 2.7GB upload edebiliyorlar ama benim para veripte bu amac icin kullanacağım sistem bana gunde 256kbit surekli download vaad ediyor ! Ben ne anladım bu işten.

En sevdiğim mesajlardan biri ise bu oldu. Sonuc kısmında da bunu belirttim. Rapidshare'e bir rakip getirmemiz gerekiyor, başka turlu sahip olduğu uye gucuyle ve kalitesiyle tekelliğini surdurecektir. Bu durumda somurulmeye devam edeceğiz. Sanmıyorum ki gunluk kota 2.66GGB'tan da aşağıya duşsun ancak uyeler guclerini hissettirmezlerse bu kota hicbir zaman yukselmeyecektir. Gerek [email protected] adresine atacağınız neden kotayı arttırmaları gerektiğine yonelik oneri mailleri (bir nevi neden uye kaybedeceklerini acıklamak) ve de bu konuyu olabildiğince cok forumda duyurmanız rapidshare'in geri adım atmasına sebep olacaktır. Aksi takdirde kamuoyu yenin sistemi kendisi belirleyecektir ve bu secimdeki en buyuk etken başarılı uploaderların kararları olacaktır.

Yes, I'm convinced that it's legal pressure now. Rapidshare wouldn't be stupid enough to do something so rash and riot-inducing to their entire customer user base. Really, they don't care about piracy, all they care about is the money they're making from it, of course! The more piracy the better for Rapidshare....until the baloon pops.
And that brings me to the next point - Rapidshare is centralised hosting, making them vulnerable. I've now realised, what's the point in blowing up more baloons until they pop? That's not sustainable...
Yine hak verdiğim başka bir goruş ise rapidshare'in yasal baskı altında olması. Rapidshare sahip olduğu uye potansiyelini kaybetmek istemez ancak rapidshare sistemini yasal olmayan dosya paylaşımı yapan uyelerden arındırmak isteyebilir. Rapidshare'i kullananların buyuk coğunluğunun amacı dosya paylaşım olduğuna gore buyuk zarar gorecektir ancak fiyatları yukselterek ve kaynaklarını kuculterek ayakta kalacaklardır.

Ustteki iki mesaj ise, kullanıcıların rapidshare hesaplarını uzatmaya niyetli olmadıklarının ispatı. Ikinci mesajın sahini ise hesabının suresi dolduğunda farklı bir sağlayıcıya gececeğini soyluyor.
Peki bu konuya karşılık ne yapmalıyız ?
Rapidshare kullanıcıları yabancı forumlardan takip ettiğim uzere yavaş yavaş durumun farkına varmaya başladı. Varılan ortak sonuc ise RapidShare'ı nasıl kullanarak bizler yarattıysak, rapidshare kadar kaliteli olabilecek bir sistemi keşfederek uploadlarımızı buraya yapmaya başlamak. Sonucta başarılı olacak sistemi kamuoyu belirleyecektir. Tekelci zihniyet ile uye somurmeye başlayan sistemler kaybetmeye mahkumdurlar.
2 senedir rapid kullanıyorum, bu sistem duzelmedikce (en azından ilk başladıkları gibi gunde 5GB vermedikleri surece), bir daha hesabımı uzatmayı kesinlikle duşunmuyorum.
Tum rapidshare kullanıcılarını sağduyuya davet ediyoruz ve bu tekelleşmenin onune gecmek istiyoruz. Bu konudaki uyarıları dikkate alırsanız rapidshare mutlaka bu adımını geri atacaktır.
