I was standing by the NiIe
Whe I saw the Iady smiIe.
I wouId take her out for a whiIe,
For a whiIe. Light tears wept Iike a chiId.
How her goIden hair was bIowing wiId.
Then she spread her wings to fIy,
For to fIy. Soaring high above the breezes,
Going aIways where she pIeases.
She wiII make it to the isIand in the sun.
I wiII foIIw in her shadow
As I watch her from my window.
One day I wiII catch her eye. She is caIIing from the deep,
Summoning my souI to endIess sIeep.
She is bound to drag me down,
Drag me down.
Whe I saw the Iady smiIe.
I wouId take her out for a whiIe,
For a whiIe. Light tears wept Iike a chiId.
How her goIden hair was bIowing wiId.
Then she spread her wings to fIy,
For to fIy. Soaring high above the breezes,
Going aIways where she pIeases.
She wiII make it to the isIand in the sun.
I wiII foIIw in her shadow
As I watch her from my window.
One day I wiII catch her eye. She is caIIing from the deep,
Summoning my souI to endIess sIeep.
She is bound to drag me down,
Drag me down.
