This June I'm planning a trip to Turkey. Beside visiting Istanbul and Ankara, I would also like to go to Malatya and swimm in the Euphrat and maybe in Tigris. Is swimming possible near Malatya and where?
Are dried apricots sold in the local market and how much do they cost?
Is there a cheap place to sleep in Malatya (hostel or one night rental from locals)? Is camping by the river possible?
